Immediate Opening for a Senior Human Resources Generalist (Minneapolis, MN)

This person will be focused on working across HR Disciplines to support the growth of a multistate manufacturing team, read on. The Senior Human Resources Generalist will work closely with internal HR Team to develop processes, manage investigations, support confidential projects and more.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assist the Sr. HR Manager and onsite Operations in communicating and applying company policies and procedures & promote a deeper understanding within company
- Manage the full life cycle of recruiting activities including sourcing and screening applicants, maintaining recruiting systems, drafting offer letters, orientation, onboarding, and providing follow-through with candidates.
- Assist managers with the performance evaluation process and new hire follow-up meetings.
- Manage and update job descriptions for the site; classify positions as needed.
- Facilitate the annual performance review and merit increase cycle.
- Assist with discipline procedures and the termination process to ensure all employees are treated fairly.
- Develop and organize staff training sessions, workshops, and other activities as needed.
- Effectively respond to any benefits related concerns.
- Support in successfully maintaining employee electronic records (i.e., new hire, termination, change of status).
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters.
- Address employee relations issues and conduct investigations as needed.
- Facilitate employee engagement initiatives to elevate the working experience of company team members.
- Provide support to enterprise HR initiatives including other company sites as needed.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources (preferably in manufacturing, multi-site responsibility a plus).
- 5+ years related experience (preferably in manufacturing, multi-site responsibility a plus)
- Must have strong working knowledge of HR software systems (preferably ADP).
- Must be able to effectively communicate and implement policies/procedures to drive continuous improvement.
- Exhibit high level of professional conduct, integrity, and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s in Human Resources, MBA (HR Track), Master’s in Industrial and Labor Relations.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal employment laws.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit strong initiative and resourcefulness.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining close attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and HR Management Systems.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish).
