About the Role
The Senior HR Manager will serve as a key strategic partner to senior operations and HR leadership. This person will support the Director of HR and lead the delivery of HR initiatives across a large and diverse workforce, aligning people strategies with business objectives. The role will provide coaching, guidance, and leadership across a range of areas including employee and labor relations, performance management, organizational development, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a business partner to SVPs, GMs, and line managers to drive HR strategy and organizational effectiveness
Lead the implementation of HR programs, policies, and best practices across assigned business units
Advise on employee relations matters, labor relations, and contract negotiations
Provide performance coaching to management, including guidance on performance improvement plans, terminations, and conflict resolution
Develop and execute staffing plans, workforce assessments, and talent development strategies
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects, such as M&A integration, facility changes, or org design initiatives
Support workplace safety by ensuring environmental and health standards are met
Facilitate employee training, leadership development, and onboarding programs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (Master’s preferred)
10–15 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments
Deep knowledge of HR disciplines: labor relations, compensation, benefits, employee relations, talent management, and organizational development
Strong familiarity with employment laws and compliance standards
Ability to coach and influence leaders at all levels of the organization
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (SAP experience preferred)
Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, operational environment
