Immigrants First PLLC is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Immigration Paralegal to join our dedicated legal team in Manassas, VA. Responsibilities:
Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation (USCIS, DOL, NVC, consular)
Manage and maintain a high-volume caseload across family-based, employment-based, business Immigration, and removal defense matters
Draft legal correspondence, cover letters, and client communications under attorney supervision
Conduct client interviews and gather supporting evidence for immigration cases
Monitor case statuses, deadlines, and government notices using case management software
Mentor and provide guidance to junior paralegals and support staff
Stay current on changes in immigration law, USCIS policy updates, and processing times
Requirements:
3+ years of hands-on immigration paralegal experience required
Proficiency with immigration forms and filings including I-589, I-130, I-485, I-140, I-765, and DACA renewals
Strong knowledge of family-based and/or employment-based immigration processes
Experience with immigration case management software (e.g., INSZoom, Docketwise, or similar)
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet strict deadlines
Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred
Paralegal certificate or relevant college degree preferred
Compassionate, client-focused demeanor with strong interpersonal communication skills
