    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Electrician to support electrical maintenance and installation across a heavy industrial manufacturing operation in the Houston area. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading electrical systems that support production equipment and plant operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on industrial and production equipment.
    • Install, adjust, maintain, and troubleshoot motors, drives, control panels, and instrumentation.
    • Diagnose electrical issues and implement corrective actions.
    • Maintain and repair power distribution systems.
    • Work with PLCs, digital drives, motor control circuits, and relay logic.
    • Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
    • Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
    • Coordinate electrical modifications and system upgrades as needed.
    • Maintain clean and organized work areas.
    • Follow all OSHA and MSHA safety standards.
    • Wear required PPE and uphold plant safety protocols.
    • Support additional maintenance and operational needs as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 5 years of electrical maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
    • 3+ years in aggregate, cement, sand, mining, or heavy industrial operations preferred.
    • Experience with power distribution systems.
    • Experience with PLCs and digital drives.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills with motor control circuits and relay logic.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Associate degree in Electrical Technology preferred.
    • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints.
    • Mechanical aptitude and solid mathematical skills.
    • Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; ability to adapt to company systems).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    Working Conditions

    • Exposure to outdoor environments, including extreme heat, cold, and noise.
    • Industrial plant setting with heavy machinery.
    • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
    • Must be comfortable working around heavy mobile equipment.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and lift regularly.
    • Ability to exert up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently.
    • Ability to safely communicate in a high-noise environment.
    • Capable of working at heights and accessing industrial equipment.
