Position Summary The Senior Inside Sales Representative is responsible for overseeing and executing the end-to-end customer experience for assigned accounts. This role focuses on order management, problem resolution, customer communication, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients. Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for key customer accounts, ensuring timely and accurate communication across all touchpoints.
Manage the full order lifecycle, from order entry and confirmation to delivery and invoicing, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Collaborate with logistics, supply chain, regulatory, and production teams to ensure accurate fulfillment and on-time delivery.
Resolve customer issues, complaints, and disputes quickly and professionally, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Understand and communicate product specifications, safety information, lead times, and inventory availability.
Coordinate customer-specific needs including packaging requirements, documentation, and labeling in compliance with chemical handling regulations (e.g., DOT, OSHA, EPA).
Support sales team efforts by identifying upselling opportunities and assisting with quotations and contract renewals.
Maintain accurate customer records and interactions.
Qualifications
3+ years of customer service or account management experience in distribution.
Strong knowledge of chemical distribution logistics preferred.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and safety.
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Chemistry, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 based on experience
