What sets us apart: • Confidential hiring process • Paid vacation • Competitive compensation • Medical Responsibilities: • Design Leadership: Lead the design vision for full-scale residential renovations, developing sophisticated concepts and carrying them through to detailed construction documentation. • Design + Renovation Delivery: Work alongside the project management team to guide projects through demolition, construction, and finishing, ensuring design intent is executed seamlessly on site. • Furniture & Styling: Deliver complete, turnkey interiors by leading furniture sourcing, custom specifications, and final installation styling for renovated spaces. • Technical Documentation: Produce comprehensive drawing packages—including floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, and millwork details—to support accurate renovation execution. • Project Operations: Use JobTread to manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and vendor coordination across renovation projects. • Client Leadership: Serve as the primary client contact, confidently presenting designs and guiding clients through the full renovation and design process. • Business Mindset: Bring strong commercial awareness, contributing to the company’s growth, reputation, and position as a leader in design and renovations. Qualifications: • Experience: Minimum 5+ years in a senior interior design role within a design-build or residential renovations environment , leading projects from concept through construction. • Education: Degree or diploma in Interior Design (DID, BID, or equivalent) from an accredited institution. NKBA certification is a bonus! • Software Proficiency: Strong command of AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) for high-level presentations. Experience with JobTread for renovation project management and estimating is an asset. • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of BC Building Codes, Vancouver permitting processes, Strata reno approvals, and residential construction methods as they relate to renovations. • Project Portfolio: Proven experience delivering large-scale residential renovation projects, including fully integrated furniture and styling packages.Design Excellence: Highly refined, detail-driven aesthetic with a strong awareness of global design trends and how they translate into functional, buildable spaces. • Operational Awareness: Solid understanding of budgets, margins, and cost control within renovation projects, balancing design vision with financial performance. • Collaboration: Strong communicator with the ability to work closely with contractors, trades, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution across design and construction phases. Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 annual PLUS Bonus DOE
