    Seattle, WA - Hybrid

    6 months contract (possible extension or conversion)

    Pay: $24-$27/hour

    Join the largest coffee retail company in the country! This multinational chain is seeking a Senior Inventory Planner with strong Excel skills. If supply chain is your passion and you're looking to grow your career, this could be the role for you!

    In this role, you will lead the development of inventory forecasts for assigned business units, driving planning processes that support sales targets and customer service objectives. The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience in supply chain and planning.

    Senior Inventory Planner Responsibilities:

    • Develops and sets inventory and service level strategies, recommending optimal stock levels and balancing cost vs. service targets.
    • Partners with cross-functional teams to drive assortment changes that reduce waste and increase margin.
    • Identifies opportunities to improve store sales through analytical insights and recommends solutions to achieve financial and performance goals.
    • Anticipates demand and trend shifts using experience, data, and insights, implementing preventative actions as needed.
    • Manages multiple priorities and coordinates with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of work.
    • communication to various audiences, including leaders, to promote alignment and collaboration.
    • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop clear messaging that accurately presents complex scenarios.

    Senior Inventory Planner Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of supply chain and planning experience, with strong knowledge of inventory planning, replenishment, and store allocation processes.
    • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyze data and present findings effectively.
    • Experience with planning systems (O9, Oracle BI), Sigma, or Tableau is a plus.
    • Retail or large matrixed organization experience is preferred.
    • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while working independently and collaboratively.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
