    Seeking a Senior Irrigation Technician position in Jacksonville, FL, US with HEROES Lawn Care. Responsibilities include meeting customers for irrigation system maintenance and repairs. • Conduct a thorough 35-point property inspection and offer recommendations on additional products/services • Identifying issues, suggesting solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction • Collaborate with Owner/General Manager to enhance productivity and customer service • Coordinate effectively with office staff for scheduling and routing optimization • Competitive compensation: Up to $65,000 annually + commission based on revenue and experience Responsibilities: • Provides reliable, high-quality customer support. • Performs customer instruction on system operation and functionality. • Performs system testing and signal verification via troubleshooting if they are set up with a smart/Wi-Fi controller. • Organizes and utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks. • Monitors and ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks. • Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner. • Must have a strong work ethic. • Respond to customers’ requests and complaints, make appropriate recommendations, and advise customers on how to improve their irrigation systems. • Demonstrate expertise in the maintenance and repair of irrigation systems and related components, including irrigation lines, sprinkler heads, control panels, valves, pumps, etc. • Perform seasonal maintenance of irrigation systems for turn-on and blowouts. • Cross-trained in other departments for backup support. • This job description is not a comprehensive list of all activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job and is subject to change at any time with or without notice. Qualifications: • GED or high school diploma required. • Two years of experience in the irrigation industry & related principles/practices required. • Florida Irrigation Contractor's License course to install new irrigation systems is preferred. If already a licensed Irrigator, no need to worry about the class. • If no Florida Irrigation Contractor's License is obtained, can accept a Florida-approved, grandfathered irrigator with current continuing education credits in lieu of a Florida Irrigation Contractor's License. Compensation: $65,000 yearly potential + commission DOE
