Senior Java Full Stack Engineer - State Government Project Need Texas Residents Only - Contract - Austin-TX (Hybrid)

Required:

8 yrs – Server-side & Web Services development on J2EE, enhancing & maintaining enterprise-class applications.

8 yrs – Full SDLC participation (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment).

8 yrs – J2EE application server development including Authentication, Authorization & Caching strategies.

8 yrs – Programming with Java, J2EE, REST/SOAP, HTML5, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular, Typescript, Spring, JSON, XML, JWT, NPM, Maven, OpenAPI v3, OAuth, Postman, ReadyAPI, Mulesoft, etc.

8 yrs – Implementing REST services- REST security using JWT, OAuth & related standards.

8 yrs – Developing self-contained, reusable, testable modules & owning end-to-end enterprise web services stack (optimization, tuning, maintenance).

Preferred Skills

3 yrs – Hand-on experience with JBoss or IBM WebSphere Application Server 8 or later

3 yrs – Hands-on with Agile/Scrum development methodology (preferably Scrum)

3 yrs – Hands-on experience in CI/CD methodologies and containerized application deployments.

3 yrs – Hands-on experience with web applications developed for Cloud platforms

3 yrs – Experience in Test-driven development (TDD) using frameworks such as Karma, Jasmine, Selenium.

Specific Skills:

Full stack J2EE development

Java, REST/SOAP APIs

Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3

Spring, Maven, NPM

JWT, OAuth security

Mulesoft or similar integration tools

SOA platform experience

Strong communication skills

Postman/ReadyAPI
