The Senior Legal Billing Specialist is responsible for coordinating the activities of the billing process and performing complex billing duties, while preparing and analyzing complex client billing requests.
Responsibilities:
- Creating, editing, and finalizing bills in accordance with firm and client requirements and billing attorney directives, reviewing proformas, handling subsequent corrections, and coordinating e-billing
- Preparing and finalizing invoices in line with internal and external regulation and legislation, including Value-Added Tax (VAT), Criminal Finances Act Solicitors’ Accounts Rules, and money laundering regulations, as applicable
- Ensuring successful delivery of invoices and coordinating with revenue and e-billing teams for submission, and helping resolve rejections and reductions
- Generating and reviewing proformas from 3E for informational and billing purposes
- Utilizing computerized billing and payable software modules to complete the billing process and client refunds, and researching and providing information to customers

- Demonstrate proven ability to manage your workload and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines
- Exhibit demonstrated strong technology skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a legal, accounting, finance, or equivalent industry, preferably
- Experience using financial systems, preferably
