Leading social service organization seeks a Senior Social Work Supervisor to implement and oversee the clinical services and models of care.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure clients receive timely access to quality clinical services, including during crises; oversees functions to support program’s clinical operations; and ensures program compliance with Federal, State, and City regulatory bodies, CARF and funding entities.
- Develop and implement models of care to effectively meet the clinical needs of the individuals/families and communities we serve. Duties are as follows:
- Identify gaps in clinical services at the program level and develop potential solutions to fill the gaps.
- Ensure all assigned staff maintain an active caseload size as defined by clinic executive leadership.
- Works with clinicians to maximize time providing direct care to clients.
- Teaches, assesses, and monitors skills such as completion of timely notes, time management & organizational skills.
- Provide direct services to clients, as needed, including intakes and crisis interventions.
- Develop strategies to ensure clients have timely access to care and increased engagement in care
- Supervision of crisis intervention services
- Participate in quality assurance activities such as chart reviews and utilization management.
- Integrate recovery, rehabilitation, treatment, and vocational components of the program.
- Monitor and follow up on program incidents
- Responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing to support clinical care and evaluating staff performance.
- Ensure timely completion of performance appraisals and appropriately and clearly addressing performance concerns
- Ensure program and staff are compliant with regulations and standards of care that govern the program
Qualification:
- New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience including supervisory experience
