Responsibilities: • Maintain and build relationships through networking and prospecting with bankers, realtors, builders, and your community to attract new business • Interact with customers, realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction • Communicate a thorough understanding of different loan programs and closing costs to help prospective buyers make a decision • Work closely with borrowers, loan officers, title companies/attorneys, or insurance companies to gather and prepare all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements • Monitor the mortgage process to ensure all company and regulatory processes are adhered to Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university required in banking, business, real estate, or a related field • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, superb interpersonal and customer service skills, and exceptional decision-making ability • Strong understanding of company loan policies and guidelines, as well as all federal and state regulations • Understanding of loan originator software such as Experian, LendingWise, or Calyx, and Office Suite highly preferred • Knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, fixed/ adjustable loans, Bridge Loans, Non-Conforming Loans, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit • An established book of business is preferred • Bilingual - Spanish/English speaking a plus Compensation: $80,000+ at plan yearly
