SMH Logistics, a provider of warehousing and distribution solutions for both domestic and international clients, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Logistics Analyst/Operations Analyst. This role is responsible for overseeing logistics operations, managing improvement projects, and leading a small team of analysts to support end-to-end supply chain execution Responsibilities: • Oversee two logistics analysts. • Project management of improvement projects in EDI, WMS, Small Parcel, Automation, and Process improvements. A proven background in improvement projects is a must. • Manages incoming and outgoing orders by interpreting logistics data to provide a smooth flow of products in the supply chain process. • Monitors and analyzes customer information from data interchange and customer web portals. • Maintains and records information in our WMS system and network folders to properly support customer requirements. • Prepares all paperwork, which includes BOL, Shipper, and Commercial Invoice. • Accurately process all data to ensure 100% delivery performance and inventory accuracy. • Provide analysis and reporting of data for evaluation of performance and proper flow of inventory transactions. • Maintains the accuracy of inventory and inventory transactions. • Customer support for information, inquiries, reporting, and providing transaction information. • Other special projects. Qualifications: • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work under tight timelines and ability to handle stressful situations. • Excellent computer skills navigating through the web, MS products, and other software. • Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain is a must. Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 yearly
