Grow your career with a leader! Our client is hiring a Senior Maintenance Mechanic for first shift!

Responsibilities of the Senior Maintenance Mechanic

• Perform scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance for machinery with a leadership presence
• Repair machinery including electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics and other aspects for machinery used in manufacturing
• Handle basic welding and carpentry to build racks, shelving, etc. as needed
• Lead when emergency repairs on machinery are needed
• Be involved with rebuilding, moving and installing machinery
• Facilitate the handling of OSHA machine guarding on presses, etc.
• Be responsible to maintain spare parts as needed for emergency requests

Requirements of the Senior Maintenance Mechanic

• High School graduate
• 7 or more years of full-time experience as a maintenance mechanic preferably in a manufacturing type of setting and more experience is preferred
• Be well-rounded with machine repair, basic welding, basic carpentry, electrical controls, HVAC, electronics, pneumatics and hydraulics as well as facility maintenance
• This is a first shift position starting at 5:30 am M-F.

Compensation for the Senior Maintenance Mechanic

The annual starting salary for this position will be $36.00 per hour to $41.00 per hour with excellent benefits.
