People Manager
The Opportunity
Join Adobe as a Senior Manager of Site Reliability Engineering and drive key initiatives that ensure the reliability, efficiency and performance of Adobe web applications. What you'll Do
Manage the managers of Adobe Workfront's SRE teams and our infrastructure roadmap
Communicate and collaborate effectively with partner engineering teams and executive leadership
Drive company-wide engineering initiatives related to observability, resilience, incident response, performance, and business continuity
Design, architect, and implement infrastructure, automation, tooling, and standard methodologies
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Mentor and develop high-performing engineers and managers
Identify, prioritize, and mitigate application availability concerns
Define and refine operational practices, tooling, and runbooks
Evolve our CI/CD pipeline and application infrastructure to meet scaling and DORA metrics goals
Promote engineering excellence in performance, scalability, and security
Model Adobe values within the team and across the organization
What you need to succeed
Proven track record in operating large-scale products and services
3+ years of experience managing engineers and engineering managers
Expertise in scalable multi-tenant services using container orchestration solutions
Excellent crisis leadership and technical communication skills
Outstanding design, problem-solving, and coding skills
Effective communication and ability to distill complex data
Experience in building strategic roadmaps and managing delivery
Proficiency in cloud services operations on Azure, AWS, or GCP
Ability to work with globally distributed teams
Outstanding analytical skills to solve complex systems challenges
Knowledge of public cloud infrastructure, networking, architecture, and Linux
Practical knowledge of distributed service design and performance
Located in Lehi, Utah, with a 3-day per week in-office hybrid policy
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $154,700 -- $320,000 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
