Wright Technical Services is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a leading integrator in the production machining industry. This role involves analyzing customer requirements and developing competitive system or station concepts. Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality designs, overseeing the design and release process, and managing machine build supervision and start-up.

Responsibilities:

\- Ensure designs meet quality, cost-effectiveness, and timeliness.

\- Gain subcontract support and manage vendor quotations.

\- Prepare PowerPoint presentations to introduce design concepts to clients.

\- Meet quotation deadlines and support sales presentations.

\- Attend customer meetings and plant visits.

\- Review customer specifications, including terms and conditions and part drawings.

\- Develop conceptual solutions, including process flow, part handling, and system layouts.

\- Facilitate internal reviews and brainstorming sessions.

\- Develop proposals, including technical specifications and price breakdowns.

\- Identify and resolve project-related issues; communicate with vendors and stakeholders.

\- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure on-time proposal submissions.

\- Manage project timelines, budgets, and customer relations.

\- Oversee all phases of assigned projects, including design, assembly, and installation.

\- Conduct project meetings and suggest improvements for future projects.

This position requires effective communication with various divisions and the ability to address customer concerns and requirements. The Lead Mechanical Engineer will ensure technical quality and commercial success for all assigned projects.
