Senior .NET Developer
Full Time Position
Remote Position - Candidate must live in the Charlotte area
We’re working with a growing SaaS company that’s expanding its engineering team and looking for a Senior .NET Developer who can take ownership of backend systems that power core business applications used nationwide.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in small, hands-on environments. You’ll help stabilize existing systems while contributing to ongoing modernization efforts.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain C# / .NET applications, APIs, and backend services
- Build and support Windows Services and background processing components
- Debug production issues, improve system performance, and ensure high uptime
- Lead improvements to SQL Server performance (stored procedures, indexing, query optimization)
- Drive ongoing migration from .NET Framework to modern .NET platforms
- Collaborate on CI/CD enhancements using Azure DevOps (repos, pipelines, boards)
- Partner closely with internal teams to troubleshoot complex technical challenges and deliver sustainable fixes
What You Bring
- 7+ years of experience building production applications in C# / .NET (Framework and Core)
- Strong understanding of backend systems, APIs, and multi-threaded or asynchronous programming
- Solid background in SQL Server, capable of writing, tuning, and optimizing queries and stored procedures
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD and source control platforms
- Clear communicator who can explain complex issues and collaborate effectively in a small team setting
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services (S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, Cognito)
- Exposure to Angular or other modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience supporting SaaS or enterprise-scale applications
- Interest in leveraging AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) for productivity
