MOET Law Group is seeking an experienced Senior Negotiator to join our plaintiff-side personal injury law firm in Irvine, CA. This full-time, in-person role is critical in the post-demand phase of personal injury cases, where you will negotiate directly with insurance companies to maximize settlements for our clients.
This position is ideal for a seasoned personal injury professional with strong demand negotiation experience, a deep understanding of case value, damages, and insurance strategies, and the ability to confidently handle high-value negotiations.
Salary Range: $25 – $35 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary negotiator with insurance adjusters after demand is submitted
Evaluate case value, liability, and damages to develop negotiation strategies
Negotiate settlements with insurance companies to maximize client recovery
Review and analyze medical records, bills, and supporting documentation
Draft and revise demand packages and settlement communications as needed
Handle counteroffers, strategy adjustments, and escalation of negotiations
Communicate clearly with clients regarding settlement progress and expectations
Collaborate with attorneys, case managers, and staff on case strategy
Maintain detailed records of negotiations, offers, and settlement outcomes
Assist with high-value or complex cases and provide guidance to team members
Qualifications
2+ years of personal injury negotiation experience (required)
Proven ability to negotiate directly with insurance companies
Strong understanding of injury valuation, damages, and settlement strategy
Experience handling high-volume or high-value cases
Excellent negotiation, communication, and persuasion skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
High level of organization and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a demand writer, case manager, or pre-litigation negotiator
Background in personal injury law firm operations
Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
Spanish-speaking ability a plus
