The Senior Network Architect leads in the design, development, and building of the networks using the latest in application centric infrastructure technologies, identifying the hardware and cabling needs, installing and configuring the network devices, and troubleshooting network problems.

Candidate is proficient in network architecture, understands the network protocols and security requirements, and can design and implement a reliable and efficient network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Design and implement robust network architectures using Cisco and Juniper technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions.

Conduct network assessments to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Prepare and maintain documentation of networks and network equipment.

Recommend upgrades and improvements to ensure network capacity meets increasing demands.

Ensure network security by setting up firewalls, VPNs, and other network security measures.

Provide technical support and guidance to network administrators and IT staff.

Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices and services

Perform network model simulations and predictions to anticipate possible issues

Stay updated with latest networking technologies and make recommendations for implementations.

Qualifications

· Ten years’ experience in a network environment with at least five years as a Network Architect.

· Experience and knowledge of Cisco networking technologies

· Hands on experience architecting and building networks.

· Core knowledge of routers, switches, wireless, firewalls, load balancing, VoIP, VPNs, and gateways.

· Ensures compliance with applicable security requirements for the classification level of the system

· Managing firewalls

· Certifications: CCIE and JNCIS
