Senior Nuclear Stockpile Accountability Data Manager
Job Summary: The Senior Nuclear Stockpile Accountability Data Manager supports the DTRA NE-NL Stockpile Operations Branch (NE-NLOS) by assisting the Accountability Chief in managing and overseeing the DoD nuclear stockpile. This role ensures accurate inventory compliance, coordinates weapon movements, and supports policy development.
Responsibilities:
Assist in daily management and oversight of the DoD nuclear stockpile.
Develop and execute exercises, including planning and post-exercise reports.
Review, validate, and update nuclear weapons accountability data, policies, and applications, reporting any shortfalls within 24 hours.
Monitor stockpile for inventory compliance and coordinate nuclear weapon shipments, including approving Material Transfer Orders (MTO) and Movement Tracking Numbers (MTN).
Review and distribute the annual New Material and Stockpile Evaluation Schedule (NMSES).
Generate availability messages for weapon movement planning.
Gather data from the Department of Energy (DOE) and DIAMONDS to create Annual Lab and Flight Test Selection memorandums.
Prepare briefings, talking points, and after-action reports, and attend/organize meetings and workshops.
Provide backup support for Department Stockpile Managers.
Qualifications:
High school diploma with 6 years of demonstrated experience performing these duties, or BA/BS degree with 8 years of similar experience.
U.S. citizenship and active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at contract award.
Extensive experience in nuclear stockpile management and accountability processes.
Ability to diagnose and document reporting errors within 24 hours and coordinate Exception to Policy (ETP) memorandums within 48 hours.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of DoD and DOE nuclear logistics systems (e.g., DIAMONDS).
Strong organizational skills for coordinating shipments and managing schedules.
Experience in exercise planning and execution within DoD environments.
Proficiency in preparing high-level briefings and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
