    Job Summary: The Senior Nuclear Stockpile Maintenance Technician supports the DTRA NE-NL Logistics & Maintenance Division, Maintenance Branch (NE-NLMM). This role aids in managing the Limited Life Component (LLC) program, coordinating transportation, and updating nuclear weapons maintenance policies.

    Responsibilities:

    Support the DoD Executive Agent for the LLC management program, managing LLC and alternation (Alt) kit definitions.

    Evaluate stockpile data for LLC expiration dates and develop fiscal year-based LLC utilization schedules, delivering by March 1 annually.

    Provide monthly LLC distribution requirements to DTRA, Federal LLC Manager, and NNSA NA-122.1 by the first Wednesday of the preceding month.

    Process LLC schedule change requests within 4 duty days, ensuring error-free documentation.

    Assist the Nuclear Transportation Working Group (NTWG) with semi-annual meetings, including agenda updates and action item tracking.

    Interface with the Office of Secure Transportation (OST) and Military Services for LLC, weapon, and major assembly transportation.

    Review and recommend changes to nuclear weapons maintenance policies and technical publications.

    Prepare time-critical technical procedures for safety, reliability, or operational concerns.

    Provide backup support for Department Maintenance Support Managers.

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma with 6 years of demonstrated experience performing these duties, or BA/BS degree with 8 years of similar experience.

    U.S. citizenship and active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at contract award.

    Extensive knowledge of DoD nuclear weapon maintenance, LLC exchange, and tie-down/transport/transfer procedures.

    Experience interpreting DoD and DOE directives for incorporation into JNWPS technical procedures.

    Desired Skills:

    Familiarity with DIAMONDS and NNSA NA-122.1 processes.

    Strong coordination skills for managing transportation and meeting schedules.

    Ability to develop error-free LLC schedules and technical publication edits.

    Experience facilitating high-level meetings and working with Military Services.
