    Wipro Givon USA has an fantastic opportunity for a hands-on operational leader to join our team as a Senior Operations Manager. The Senior Operations Manager, serves as the senior operational leader for the facility, with full accountability for plant performance across Machining, Assembly, Engineering, Programming, and IT. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, delivery performance, quality, safety, compliance, and cost control in a high-mix, low-volume aerospace manufacturing environment. This position operates in a strict ITAR-regulated environment and ensures full compliance with export control laws, aerospace quality standards, and Washington State employment and safety regulations. This role, partners closely with executive leadership, HR, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance to align operational execution with strategic business objectives.

    Abilities - Are you a good fit:

    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).

    10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Automotive/ Precision manufacturing/ Aerospace manufacturing operations.

    Proven experience leading Machining, Assembly, Engineering, and Programming teams.

    Strong working knowledge of ITAR and export-controlled manufacturing environments.

    Experience operating in regulated quality systems (AS9100, ISO, or equivalent). · Demonstrated success driving operational excellence and leading cross-functional teams.

    Strong business acumen with the ability to balance operational execution and strategic thinking.

    Deep understanding of CNC machining, manufacturing engineering, and production systems.

    Ability to lead in a high-accountability, safety-critical environment.

    Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.

    Data-driven decision-maker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

    Comfortable leading change and navigating complexity.

    Ability to occasionally lift 25 pounds. Ability to navigate the shop seamlessly. Ability to work at computer space for long hours.

    Ability to work on site, in Everett Washington, and ability to come during off hours to meet with teams as needed.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities - What will you do daily:

    Operational Leadership

    Provide overall leadership and direction for all plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing processes.

    Own plant-level KPIs, including Delivery, Cost, and Productivity

    Translate strategic objectives into executable operational plans and measurable outcomes.

    Ensure operational readiness to meet customer requirements, contract obligations, and delivery schedules.

    Manufacturing Operations (Machining & Assembly)

    Oversee machining and assembly operations, including capacity planning, labor utilization, equipment effectiveness, and workflow optimization.

    Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologies.

    Provides strategic and operational oversight of the Planning function to ensure accurate demand forecasting, capacity planning, and production scheduling in support of on-time delivery, quality, and compliance requirements within an aerospace manufacturing environment.

    Ensure adherence to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

    Champion a strong safety culture in alignment with Washington State L&I and OSHA requirements.

    Engineering & Programming

    Lead engineering and CNC programming functions to ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency, and production readiness.

    Partner with Engineering to improve DFM/DFA, reduce cycle times, and eliminate rework.

    Ensure effective change management for engineering changes and production releases.

    Maintain robust documentation, revision control, and configuration management processes.

    Estimation of new and current model parts

    IT & Systems Oversight

    Provide strategic oversight of plant IT systems, including ERP/MRP, CNC systems, shop-floor data collection, cybersecurity, and access controls.

    Ensure IT infrastructure supports production reliability, data integrity, and operational scalability.

    Partner with IT to maintain system compliance with ITAR, cybersecurity, and data access requirements.

    ITAR & Regulatory Compliance

    Ensure full compliance with ITAR, EAR, DFARS, and customer contractual requirements.

    Enforce access controls, citizenship requirements, and data segregation protocols.

    Partner with HR and Compliance to ensure training, audits, and corrective actions are completed and documented.

    Act as an operational leader during internal and external audits.

    People Leadership & Development

    Build, lead, and develop high-performing leadership teams across operations, engineering, programming, and IT.

    Establish clear accountability, role clarity, and performance expectations.

    Support workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.

    Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

    Financial & Business Performance

    Own operational budgets, cost controls, and productivity targets.

    Partner with Finance to support forecasting, capital planning, and ROI analysis.

    Drive margin improvement through efficiency, waste reduction, and process optimization.
