Responsibilities: • Case Management & Strategy: Independently manage a diverse caseload of probate matters from opening to closing. This includes trust administration, estate planning, and conservatorships, ensuring all filings are accurate and deadlines are met. • Document Preparation & Review: Prepare and review advanced legal documents, including Petitions for Probate, Inventories and Appraisals, Accounts, and various Judicial Council forms with minimal supervision. • Client & Court Liaison: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, beneficiaries, and financial institutions regarding case status. Communicate court procedures and legal requirements in a clear, empathetic manner. • Litigation Support: Assist attorneys in all phases of probate litigation, including discovery, deposition preparation, exhibit management, and trial preparation. Qualifications: • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Paralegal, specifically within Probate, Estate Planning, or Trust Administration. • Education: Must hold a Certificate of Completion from an ABA-approved paralegal program, in compliance with the California Business and Professions Code. A Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred. • Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with California probate procedures, local court rules, and e-filing systems. Experience with timekeeping software is a plus. Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000
