Senior Parts and Inventory Specialist - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 32.00/hour - Charlotte, NC

• Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturer of industrial equipment, is seeking a Senior Parts and Inventory Specialist to manage parts operations, order processing, purchasing, and inventory control.
• This role supports Service, Sales, Warehouse, and Accounting while maintaining inventory accuracy, managing stock levels, and supporting efficient parts availability and inventory turnover.

Responsibilities:

• Process and monitor parts orders from order entry through fulfillment, providing pricing, availability, and shipment status to customers and internal teams
• Maintain accurate inventory and ERP records; support cycle counts and physical inventories and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Review demand, lead times, stock levels, reorder points, and inventory turnover to support stock replenishment and reduce slow-moving or excess inventory
• Create and track purchase orders, confirm supplier pricing and delivery dates, and expedite backorders
• Coordinate receiving, verify incoming parts, and process returns and warranty claims
• Maintain ERP data accuracy and coordinate parts and inventory activity across Warehouse, Service, Sales, and Accounting
• Support inventory reconciliation and investigate inventory adjustments, including receipts, issues, and transfers
• Support warehouse operations, parts coordination, shipping, and order fulfillment as needed
• Maintain shipping system information and support warehouse inventory organization
• Identify and recommend improvements to parts ordering, inventory control, stock replenishment, and warehouse processes

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in parts operations, inventory control, purchasing, or warehouse experience
• Experience with cycle counting, reorder points, and inventory turnover
• Experience with inventory management, parts ordering, order fulfillment, purchasing, or purchase orders
• Excel and ERP system experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment

Compensation:

• Base salary (paid hourly) in the 30.00 - 32.00/hour range
