    Position Title: Senior Pharmacy Technician Location: Seaside, OR Position Type: Full-time Permanent

    Pay range and compensation package:

    Base Salary Range: $51,921 to $74,859 Per annum. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

    About the Hospital:

    25-bed critical access hospital with full accreditation by the Joint Commission that offers primary and specialty care, respiratory outpatient services, general surgery, radiology, diagnostic imaging, pathology and emergency medicine 24 hrs./7 days-a-week.

    About the Role:

    Senior Pharmacy Technician at our Hospital in Seaside, OR. Part-Time/Day Shift: The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech III performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS). Has advanced knowledge and skills in two or more specialty areas in the pharmacy.

    Qualifications:

    H.S. Diploma or GED

    Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician upon hire, Or

    Oregon Pharmacy Technician License upon hire

    Minimum of 2 years (> 4160 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system and PTCB certification (OR)

    3 years (> 6240 hours) hospital pharmacy if technician does not have PTCB certification

    Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR)

    Required Skills

    Advanced knowledge and skills in two or more specialty areas in the pharmacy

    Preferred Skills

    Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs)

    Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
