About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to design, build, and lead the delivery of enterprise-grade analytics and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI and the broader Microsoft data platform. You will focus on semantic modeling, scalable dashboard architecture, data transformation, and performance-optimized analytics. This role blends hands-on development with governance and mentorship to ensure reporting is trusted, secure, and decision-ready.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver end-to-end Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions

Translate requirements into scalable semantic models and effective visual designs

Build and optimize dimensional/tabular models (star schema, aggregations, performance tuning)

Develop advanced DAX measures, reusable KPI frameworks, and calculated logic standards

Build transformation pipelines using Power Query (M) and SQL; enable reliable refresh patterns

Integrate Power BI with cloud and on-prem data sources; improve lineage and data quality controls

Implement governance: workspace structure, deployment pipelines, naming/versioning, documentation

Configure security models, including RLS/OLS, and enforce tenant/workspace controls

Optimize dataset/report performance through query tuning, model refinement, and capacity best practices

Mentor developers via DAX reviews, model design guidance, and visualization standards; create templates/playbooks

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in CS/Information Systems/Analytics (Master’s preferred)

8+ years in BI/data/analytics development

5+ years hands-on Power BI development in enterprise environments

Experience delivering production analytics platforms and executive reporting solutions
