Peakstone Law Group is a growing Colorado law firm expanding its probate and estate planning practice, and we are seeking a Senior Associate Attorney to help lead and grow our probate division.

This role is designed for an experienced probate attorney who wants more than just a caseload — someone who wants to play a meaningful role in shaping the direction and success of a small but growing practice.

If you are looking for a position that offers autonomy, leadership opportunities, and real financial upside tied to performance, this opportunity may be a strong fit.

    The Opportunity

This position is a senior associate role with leadership responsibilities, with the opportunity to play a key role in the continued development of the firm’s probate and estate planning practice.

The attorney in this role will:

    • Manage probate administration and related matters from intake through resolution • Serve as a senior attorney within the probate and estate planning practice • Help guide the development and growth of the probate division • Work closely with firm leadership on case strategy and operational improvements

As the firm continues to grow, this position is intended to evolve into a practice leadership role within the probate division.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage probate administration matters from opening through closing • Handle contested probate matters when necessary • Advise personal representatives, beneficiaries, and fiduciaries • Appear in probate court hearings and related proceedings • Maintain strong client relationships and communication • Collaborate with firm leadership to improve systems, workflows, and practice operations • Contribute to the growth and development of the firm’s probate practice

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Licensed to practice law in Colorado • 4+ years of probate or estate administration experience • Ability to independently manage probate matters • Strong courtroom presence and client communication skills

    Preferred:

    • Experience handling contested probate matters • Interest in leadership and helping grow a practice area • Strong organizational and case management skills
