· Salary: $100K - $135K (Exempt)
· Benefits: 100% Health Benefits, Equity, PTO / Sick days, Holiday Pay, 401k, Weekly lunches, Company Outings.
Responsibilities:
Own the full product lifecycle for the mobile app — from feature ideation and requirements definition through development, launch, and post-launch iteration.
Define and maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on user needs, business goals, and market opportunities.
Map and continuously optimize the end-to-end user journey — from onboarding and activation through engagement, retention, and re-engagement flows.
Write clear product requirements documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide engineering and design teams through each sprint.
Partner with UX/UI designers to ensure the app interface meets high standards for usability, accessibility, and conversion — from wireframe through final build.
Monitor app performance metrics including activation rates, engagement, retention, and churn — using data to drive prioritization and improvement decisions.
Stay current on iOS and Android platform updates, App Store and Google Play guidelines, and emerging mobile standards — proactively adapting the product roadmap accordingly.
Track regulatory and compliance changes relevant to the app (privacy laws, data handling, platform policies) and ensure the product remains fully compliant.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to uncover gaps and validate new feature development.
Manage the app release cycle including QA coordination, app store submissions, versioning, and post-launch monitoring.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, customer support, and leadership to align the product with broader business objectives.
Requirements:
5+ years of product management experience with a strong focus on mobile app development (iOS and/or Android).
Demonstrated experience owning a product roadmap and taking features from concept to launch to measurable impact.
Deep understanding of the mobile app development lifecycle, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and sprint-based execution.
Strong grasp of user experience principles, user journey mapping, and the ability to translate customer insights into product decisions.
Familiarity with App Store and Google Play submission processes, guidelines, and optimization best practices.
Working knowledge of privacy regulations and platform compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA, Apple App Tracking Transparency, etc.).
Proficiency with product and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Notion, or similar.
Experience with analytics and A/B testing platforms (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Firebase, or similar) to measure feature performance and user behavior.
Strong communication skills — able to write clear specs for engineering and present roadmap decisions to executive stakeholders.
Background in eCommerce, DTC, or consumer-facing apps is strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field; MBA or technical background is a plus.
