About Our Client
Our client is a claims intelligence startup using data to fight fraud across the property and casualty insurance ecosystem.
Their platform connects insights across employers, insurers, and contractors to uncover fraud networks that cost Americans billions of dollars each year, slow commercial development, and erode trust across blue-collar industries.
Backed by Mosaic GP, Altai Ventures, Remarkable Ventures, and other leading investors, our client has raised $5.8M in seed funding and is building technology for one of the most overlooked and costly problems in insurance.
About the Role
Our client is hiring a Senior Product Engineer, Front End to become the company’s first frontend-focused engineering hire.
Today, the frontend is being supported by a third-party vendor. This person will take ownership of the frontend strategy, manage the vendor relationship, and lead a major revamp of the current V1 product so it can scale for enterprise customers.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who can build polished React applications, define frontend architecture, create scalable component systems, and help turn complex insurance workflows into clean, intuitive product experiences.
What You’ll Do

Lead the frontend revamp from V1 product to enterprise-ready platform
Manage and collaborate with the current third-party frontend vendor
Transform Figma designs and product requirements into clean, functional, production-ready code
Build responsive layouts, interactive data tables, charts, dashboards, and reporting tools for complex insurance workflows
Create shared component systems and define frontend architectural standards
Document component APIs, frontend conventions, and development guidelines for the engineering team
Work cross-functionally with product, design, backend engineering, and leadership to shape feature scope and technical approach
Ensure applications are fast, accessible, responsive, and consistent across browsers and devices
Collaborate with backend engineers on API design, data modeling, and async data patterns
Review code, improve team practices, and raise the quality bar for frontend development
