    Overview

We are partnering with a well-established, growth-oriented manufacturer serving industrial and OEM markets to identify a Product Manager. This role will lead product planning, lifecycle management, and go-to-market strategy across a broad portfolio of injection molding products.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands the realities of tooling, materials, manufacturing constraints, and customer-driven design, not a purely software or consumer-goods product background.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own and define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap across multiple product lines
    • Lead and develop a team of Product Managers and Associate Product Managers
    • Manage full product lifecycle management (PLCM) from concept through end-of-life
    • Translate customer, market, and sales input into clear, actionable product requirements
    • Partner closely with engineering and manufacturing to ensure products are feasible, competitive, and profitable
    • Conduct market and competitive analysis within injection molding and plastics markets
    • Develop and manage beta programs, pilots, and product validation efforts
    • Set pricing strategies aligned with margin, revenue, and asset utilization goals
    • Deliver annual product line revenue, profitability, and asset plans
    • Collaborate with Marketing on new product launches, positioning, and messaging
    • Train sales and customer-facing teams on product features, applications, and value propositions
    • Support trade shows, key customer visits, and periodic travel to manufacturing and distribution locations
    • Contribute to product data governance including PIM systems, ERP integration, e-commerce, and product catalogs

    Required Background & Experience

    • Direct experience with injection molding is required; This may include molded components, tooling-driven products, resins/materials, or plastics manufacturing environments
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
    • 3–5+ years of progressive experience in product management within a manufacturing environment
    • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, sales, and marketing
    • Strong understanding of cost drivers, margins, tooling considerations, and manufacturing scalability
    • Experience supporting B2B customers and industrial or OEM markets
    • Familiarity with ERP systems, PIM platforms, and Microsoft Office tools
