Description Overview
AlleraIT Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a short-term Business Process Discovery engagement supporting a local government client’s system modernization initiative. This role functions as an independent consultant and serves as the single point of accountability for delivering defined discovery and planning outcomes. The position is hands-on and focused on execution of stakeholder engagement, workflow analysis, and requirements documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
7+ years of Project Management experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related IT field
Demonstrated experience leading business process discovery initiatives or organizational change projects
Strong background in workflow analysis and documentation
Experience supporting legacy-to-modern system transitions
Proven ability to translate user needs into structured requirements
Expertise with process mapping methodologies and tools
Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting government or public-sector clients
PMP or similar Project Management certification
Solid experience with JIRA and Confluence
Experience with process mapping tools (Visio or similar), Microsoft Project, and Office tools
Engagement Expectations (1099)
This engagement is structured as a 1099 independent contractor role and is deliverable based.
