Senior Project Manager – Design-Build Construction
Bloomington, MN | Direct Hire | $130K–$165K + Bonus
Konik is partnering with a fully integrated real estate and construction firm to add a Senior Project Manager to their growing team. This award-winning company is known for its collaborative culture, innovative projects, and excellence across design, development, construction, and property management. The Senior Project Manager will play a key leadership role in driving complex design-build projects from concept through completion, ensuring success across schedule, budget, and client satisfaction.
Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:
Lead the full lifecycle of design-build and construction projects, from preconstruction and budgeting through closeout and client turnover
Oversee all project accounting, billing, and Procore budgets
Develop and maintain project schedules and logistics plans in coordination with field superintendents
Complete take-offs and conceptual budgets for potential and active projects
Negotiate and manage subcontracts, purchase orders, and other construction-related agreements
Maintain accuracy in plan reading, estimating, bidding, and cost tracking
Coordinate with project owners, end-users, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment and quality execution
Analyze challenges, propose solutions, and drive timely decision-making to maintain progress
Promote a strong jobsite safety culture and positive working relationships across teams
Senior Project Manager Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects with a general contractor
Proven success overseeing multiple and complex projects from preconstruction through closeout
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Detail-oriented with excellent budgeting, documentation, and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
Design-build experience strongly preferred
