Francis Construction Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Estimator to support and help lead our Earthwork Division. This role is ideal for a seasoned construction professional who takes ownership of their work, values accountability, and thrives in a collaborative, hands-on environment.

Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager / Estimator will oversee projects from pre-construction through closeout, managing both estimating and execution responsibilities. This individual will work closely with company leadership to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with company standards.
This is a key role within a growing firm where experience, sound judgment, and consistency are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate estimates and bids for earthwork and excavation projects
Manage projects from contract award through completion
Coordinate schedules, subcontractors, vendors, and internal field teams
Maintain strong communication with clients and project stakeholders
Oversee project budgets, documentation, and cost controls
Support and provide guidance to junior staff
Work closely with ownership on project planning and execution strategy
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience as a Project Manager and/or Estimator, with experience in excavation, demolition, or site work
Strong understanding of project cost control and budgeting
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
High level of professionalism and accountability
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience working in a hands-on, team-oriented construction environment
