Title: Senior Project Manager Location: Greater Indianapolis
Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and delivery of architectural projects from concept through construction. This role is responsible for managing complex projects, leading multidisciplinary teams, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring design quality, schedule adherence, and budget control. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, proven leadership skills, and the ability to mentor and elevate project teams.
Responsibilities
Lead architectural projects through all phases, from programming and schematic design through construction administration and closeout
Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities having jurisdiction
Coordinate and oversee internal project teams, consultants, and technical staff
Ensure design quality, technical accuracy, and compliance with applicable codes and regulations
Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents for quality and completeness
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff and project managers
Participate in strategic planning, workload forecasting, and team development efforts
Support business development efforts through client relationship management and proposal input as needed
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in architecture project management
Professional degree in Architecture; U.S. architectural licensure preferred
Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex projects
Strong client engagement and relationship-building skills
Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and project management platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, or other modeling software
Proficiency with Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of applicable building codes and ADA standards
Experience mentoring staff and leading collaborative project teams.
