Senior Project Manager
Maplewood, MN | $130,000–$150,000 + ESOP | Direct-Hire | Hybrid
This role provides senior-level leadership for complex engineering and delivery-focused projects within industrial and manufacturing environments. The Senior Project Manager partners closely with business unit leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver projects that meet performance, quality, schedule, and financial objectives. The position blends technical oversight, client-facing responsibility, and hands-on project leadership from initial scoping through construction and closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of engineering and delivery-focused projects to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.
- Collect and interpret field data, client documentation, and site conditions to support project scoping and execution.
- Develop and manage project engineering, procurement, and construction documentation.
- Coordinate internal and external engineering resources to ensure technical alignment and delivery consistency.
- Manage procurement activities for equipment, materials, and services.
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical submittals for quality and compliance.
- Oversee construction solicitation, coordination, and execution activities.
- Develop and manage project budgets, cost controls, forecasting, and value engineering efforts.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Support proposal development, technical presentations, and project justification efforts.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience supporting engineering, project management, or industrial delivery roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading projects from concept through execution and closeout.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, tools, and best practices.
- Experience working within industrial manufacturing or consulting engineering environments.
- Familiarity with applicable industrial standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting complex industrial or manufacturing facility projects.
- Background coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
- Working knowledge of 2D or 3D drafting tools.
- Ability to analyze workflows, develop process documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
