    Mechanical Senior Project Manager

    We are seeking a Mechanical Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale HVAC, plumbing, and piping projects across commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities in the Kansas City metro area. This role oversees projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery while leading field teams and subcontractors.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Salary: $110,000–$140,000, based on experience

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage or support large-scale mechanical projects including HVAC, ductwork, plumbing, and process piping
    • Oversee schedules, construction activities, and project financials to meet profitability targets
    • Lead field staff, subcontractors, and vendors while ensuring compliance with contracts and budgets
    • Maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and internal teams through clear communication
    • Promote safety, resolve construction issues, and lead teams using established leadership practices

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 10 years of mechanical construction project management experience on commercial or industrial projects
    • High school diploma/GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred OR significant mechanical trade experience or equivalent combination
    • Valid driver’s license, insured personal vehicle, and acceptable driving record
    • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
    • Strong knowledge of contracts, scheduling, budgets, and construction compliance

    Preferred Qualifications

    • OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
    • PMP, PMI-CP, or similar project management certification
    • Experience with Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar tools
    • Knowledge of CPM scheduling, cost controls, and BIM/VDC coordination

    Physical Requirements

    • 15–20% regional travel to jobsites and offices
    • Combination of office work and active construction site exposure
    • Ability to walk jobsites, climb ladders or scaffolding, and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
    • Flexible schedule as project needs require
