Mechanical Senior Project Manager
We are seeking a Mechanical Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale HVAC, plumbing, and piping projects across commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities in the Kansas City metro area. This role oversees projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery while leading field teams and subcontractors.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $110,000–$140,000, based on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Manage or support large-scale mechanical projects including HVAC, ductwork, plumbing, and process piping
- Oversee schedules, construction activities, and project financials to meet profitability targets
- Lead field staff, subcontractors, and vendors while ensuring compliance with contracts and budgets
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and internal teams through clear communication
- Promote safety, resolve construction issues, and lead teams using established leadership practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of mechanical construction project management experience on commercial or industrial projects
- High school diploma/GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred OR significant mechanical trade experience or equivalent combination
- Valid driver’s license, insured personal vehicle, and acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of contracts, scheduling, budgets, and construction compliance
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- PMP, PMI-CP, or similar project management certification
- Experience with Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar tools
- Knowledge of CPM scheduling, cost controls, and BIM/VDC coordination
Physical Requirements
- 15–20% regional travel to jobsites and offices
- Combination of office work and active construction site exposure
- Ability to walk jobsites, climb ladders or scaffolding, and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Flexible schedule as project needs require
