    Senior Psychotherapist provides compassionate, trauma-informed, and integrative psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, or groups.Psychotherapist is dedicated to providing affirming, humanistic care, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and growth. This professional will focus on use of professional self to cultivate an environment of connection, healing, thus allowing clients including team members to feel safe and able to reinforce/role-model a person-centered approach. Psychotherapist must be self-directive, autonomous to develop clever strategies of marketing and advertising, in order to build a caseload along with recognizing that a team approach is necessary in sustaining a private practice. The Psychotherapist is able to address areas of growth including in the arena of psychotherapeutic philosophies, techniques and methods.

    Provide integrative, compassionate, trauma-informed psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, or groups.

    Utilize therapeutic frameworks and identity-affirming, decolonizing interventions tailored to client needs

    Conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

    Knowledge of clinical diagnoses, symptomology, functional impairments, and how to document in clinical notes while being aware of the requirements for clinical necessity as they to pertain to reimbursement policies for the insurance companies

    Administering scored measures and assessment tools as warranted by clinical symptomology

    Manage a consistent caseload while adhering to ethical and professional standards

    Adhere to administrative and clinical procedures and policies as outlined by Clinical Director and Clinical Supervisor

    Attend clinical supervision with the goal of exploring clinical issues for professional development including doing case presentations, as well as seeking out case consultation with the Clinical Supervisor when needing guidance and collaboration

    Advertising and marketing of services, using social media and other platforms for visibility, to build a caseload and have a presence in the practice

    Screening potential clients to ensure alignment with your scope of practice and that services can adequately meet their mental health needs

    Managing your schedule in blocked increments to prevent therapist burnout

    Acquire and convey fundamental knowledge around the billing, claims, compliance and regulatory standards for insurance purposes

    Facilitate information on insurance benefits and eligibility, services, and fees as needed to relevant parties

    Cultivate a sense of professional identity regarding the provision of psychotherapy

    Collaborate with other providers as needed to support client care and referrals

    Engaging in ongoing professional development and being open to feedback and mentorship

    Assist and potentially spearhead projects that align with the growth and development of the practice

    The postion will begin as part-time since it takes time to build up a caseload. Once Psychotherapist has a full caseload (30 clients per week), benefits and PTO will be offered as part of the employment package.

    Applicant must have at least 3-5 years for the Senior Psychotherapist role, compensation is negotiable after a provisional period.

    Clinical license is necessary (unrestricted) with 3 years post-clinical license.
