Title:Senior Quality Process Manager
Shift: Day Shift
Salary: $90,000-$110,000 based on skills and abilities
Director of Quality Role:
The Senior Quality Process Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our Quality Management System. This role involves ensuring that products and services meet consistent standards of excellence, aligning with regulatory requirements and customer expectations. This position will work cross-functionally to embed quality into the organizations operations, and foster a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility.
Our client is an independently owned and operated manufacturer of cold-headed fasteners. They provide fasteners for many industrial consumer applications, including automotive, truck and trailer, farming equipment, material handling equipment, recreational vehicles, and sports equipment.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality policy, company standards, regulatory and external standards.
Develop and maintain the Quality Management System
Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualifications; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
Able to effectively interact with Production and Engineering teams to maintain product supply and the introduction of new parts.
Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs, and manufacturing and training methods.
Interface with all departments (sales, engineering, production) on technical issues, specification requirements, inspection methods and scheduling.
ISO Management Representative
Manage Internal & External Audit Process
Review, identify, and follow up and close pending Preventive and Corrective Action request.
Implement measures to improve inspection methods, equipment/tool performance, product quality, and efficiency.
About You:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing with supervisory experience
3-5 years of statistics, Six Sigma or other analysis experience preferred.
Familiarity with and understanding of ISO 9001:2015 requirements and documentation maintenance.
Experience with basic measurement tools, such as micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, etc.
Experience/understanding of customer drawings, specifications, and basic blueprint
reading with knowledge of GD&T concepts.
Hands on leadership, management, and team building skills.
Knowledge and understanding of FMEA, APQP, and PPAP
Background in Environmental CBAM, ROHS, REACH, and CMRT
