Attorneys may work remotely from any location; however, active licensure to practice law in California is required, and applicants without a California law license will not be considered. Castaneda Co. is a boutique litigation firm based in Silicon Valley with a practice dedicated entirely to real estate disputes. Our attorneys represent clients in complex property-related cases and are known for producing excellent work while maintaining a collaborative and supportive team culture. Our litigation practice covers a wide range of real estate matters, including seller nondisclosure claims, fraud allegations, broker negligence, and commercial lease disputes. Our firm is intentionally built to be a place where attorneys can do meaningful work while feeling respected, supported, and challenged to continue growing professionally. What We Value Our philosophy about practicing law is simple. • Great lawyers are not defined by where they went to school or by natural talent. The most important trait is a willingness to learn and improve. • We also believe that mistakes and setbacks are part of the growth process. The ability to reflect, adapt, and keep improving is what ultimately builds strong litigators. There are no shortcuts to becoming excellent at this craft. • And finally, we approach relationships with the mindset that strangers are simply people we have not gotten to know yet. We look forward to building lasting professional relationships with the people who join our team. Our attorneys are expected to meet an annual billable target of approximately 1,440 hours, which averages out to around 31 billable hours per week.
