GPS is recruiting on behalf of a top rated MGU and Reinsurance Intermediary. They seek to hire a Senior Reinsurance Underwriter to manage the negotiation and placement of several large, self-insured clients and risk pools. This includes P&C and Work Comp lines and working with London-based carriers for placement. In this role, you will:
\- Manage the renewal process for self-insureds and risk pools

\- Develop proposals and the data required by the insureds

\- Be the point of contact for clients and manage relationships with both clients and carriers

\- Maintain compliance

\- Collaborate with senior management to oversee processes, procedures and internal operations

\- Lead a small team of policy administrators

To be qualified, you must have:
\- 8+ years of P&C reinsurance underwriting experience

\- Some supervisory or management experience

\- Bachelor’s degree and industry designations are preferred
