If you’re ready to fuel passion and innovation, Sable Systems International is looking for you! • Compensation is dependent upon experience • No phone calls, please • Sable has a generous benefits package with Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with employer match and Long-term Disability, and many other perks • Location: Onsite - Full Time Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: • Design and build electrical and mechanical proof-of-concept systems for next-gen research instruments • Develop and test printed circuit boards (PCBs), manage surface mount assembly, and maintain lab equipment • Evaluate emerging technologies and assess feasibility for product integration • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into robust, manufacturable designs • Write and maintain firmware for prototype systems (C/C++) • Lead technical experimentation and documentation to validate performance • Support internal training and promote technical knowledge-sharing across the company Qualifications: Required: • BS or MS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering • 5+ years of hands-on experience in analog/digital systems design Proficiency in: • Embedded systems (e.g., Microchip PIC, ESP, ARM, Raspberry Pi, Arduino) • Programming (C/C++, Python, others as needed) • PCB design and troubleshooting (e.g., Eagle, KiCad) • Circuit simulation, assembly, and diagnostic tools (DMM, oscilloscope, logic analyzer) • CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) Preferred: • Experience with additive/subtractive prototyping (FDM, SLA, milling, laser cutting) • Familiarity with ISO9001/ISO13485 standards • Background in life science, chemical, or biological research environments • Knowledge of fluid dynamics or airflow modeling Compensation: $100,000 + DOE
