  • Responsibilities

    The Senior Sales Executive will play a key role in driving the growth and success of the company within the New York City Metro territory. This individual will focus on delivering outstanding client service, cultivating strong relationships in the design community, and consistently meeting or surpassing personal sales goals. The ideal candidate is passionate about luxury design, has a strategic sales mindset, and is committed to creating an elevated client experience.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Business Development

    • Cultivate and grow relationships with interior designers, architects, trade professionals, and homeowners to expand our client base and strengthen brand presence.

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, particularly with emerging design firms and untapped market segments, to drive revenue growth.

    • Monitor design trends, real estate activity, and firm movements to stay ahead of market shifts and capitalize on early opportunities.

    • Conduct weekly client meetings, including showroom appointments, on-site consultations, presentations, and participation in industry events to boost visibility and engagement.

    • Respond to inquiries from leads—via phone, email, and walk-ins—ensuring prompt and professional follow-up.

    • Manage a personal book of business, focusing on sales conversion, client retention, and exceeding monthly sales targets.

    • Act as a trusted expert on the companies products, customization options, and services within the territory.

    • Prepare and manage quotes, proposals, and invoices accurately to meet client specifications.

    • Oversee the full sales cycle—from initial engagement to delivery and post-installation support—to ensure a seamless experience.

    Sales Operations & Reporting

    • Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of client communications, sales activities, and pipeline status using CRM tools.

    • Submit weekly performance reports to the Regional Sales Manager, including sales results, client insights, and market trends.

    • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing, accurate production timelines, and efficient delivery coordination.

    What We’re Looking For

    You’re a results-driven sales professional with a strong background in luxury sectors such as textiles, furnishings, or interior design—and you bring deep knowledge and a valuable network within the design industry.

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Demonstrated success in high-end sales environments (e.g., luxury home goods, interior design, textiles).

    • Strong industry connections and proven experience working with design professionals and trade clients.

    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals.

    • Proficiency in CRM platforms (Pipedrive experience a plus) and sales reporting tools.

    • Ability to understand client needs and offer creative, tailored solutions.

    • Self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive with strong problem-solving abilities.

    Key Success Metrics

    • Consistently meeting or exceeding individual sales targets and contributing to regional revenue growth.

    • Building and maintaining robust relationships within the design and trade communities, leading to long-term client partnerships.
