Job Title: SR. Sales Executive (Fasteners)

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to join our team, specializing in selling precision fasteners to the aerospace and defense industry. This individual will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and ensuring our customers have access to the highest quality fastening solutions for mission-critical applications.
The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of aerospace and defense supply chains, proven experience in technical sales, and the ability to build strong relationships with engineers, program managers, procurement leaders, and C-suite decision-makers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales in aerospace, defense, & industrial manufacturing sectors
- Strong knowledge of fasteners, hardware, or related engineered components used in aerospace & defense applications
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building long-term client relationships
- Familiarity with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, ITAR, DFARS, etc.) and government contracting requirements
- Expereince with government sales cycle, RFP, bidding, etc.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to read technical drawings/specifications and translate into customer solutions
- Strong problem-solving mindset with consultative sales approach
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred (experience may substitute)
- Willingness to travel domestically to client sites, trade shows, and industry events
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities within the aerospace and defense markets
- Manage and grow existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to deliver customer-specific fastening solutions
- Conduct sales presentations, technical product demonstrations, and negotiations with key stakeholders
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and government procurement cycles to uncover opportunities
- Develop and execute account strategies aligned with the company's sales goals and objectives
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality requirements, and export regulations in all sales activities
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, forecasts, and pipeline within CRM tools
- Represent the company at trade shows, aerospace/defense conferences, and networking events to increase brand visibility
- Provide feedback to internal teams on customer needs, product performance, and opportunities for innovation
