Position Overview

The State of Ohio is seeking a Senior Salesforce Architect to design, develop, maintain, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, Aura Components, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flows, data modeling, security architecture, integrations, and Salesforce DevOps/CI/CD.

Key Responsibilities

Develop scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex classes, triggers, batch processes, LWC, and Aura Components.

Build declarative solutions using Salesforce Flows, custom objects, validation rules, and security controls.

Troubleshoot complex software errors, application bottlenecks, and data integration issues.

Write clean, documented code and robust test classes maintaining 75–80%+ code coverage.

Participate in peer code reviews and follow Salesforce development best practices.

Manage application lifecycles, sandbox environments, and deployment cycles.

Use GitHub and CI/CD tools for version control and Salesforce deployments.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.

3+ years of Salesforce Platform development experience.

Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security architecture, and data migration tools.

Experience with LWC and Aura Components.

Experience with Salesforce automation and advanced Flows.

Experience with GitHub, DevOps, CI/CD, and deployment processes.
