Job Description

Senior Services of Southwest Michigan is seeking to fill an IT intern position.  The IT intern will assist with daily technical issues amongst team members. Issuing equipment to staff. Checking in equipment at staff termination. Coordinate projects with Managed IT company. Explore and find technology that will create a more efficient and effective work environment. Work towards establishing a SharePoint agency intranet.

Qualifications

·        Currently enrolled in a degree program in Information Technology or Computer Science related field.

·        Knowledge of PC and MAC computer systems including competency with Microsoft Office products and internet techniques including email, browsers, downloading, uploading, etc. and demonstrate ability to provide instruction in their use.

·        Demonstration of excellent customer service skills.

·        Ability to communicate clearly and professionally to team members.

·        Evidence of excellent attendance, punctuality, and dependability.

·        Must have reliable transportation.

COMPENSATION

 $12 per hour
