    We are hiring a Senior Settlement Specialist (Personal Injury) to manage the settlement process for a high-volume caseload. This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone with 5-7+ years of experience in personal injury settlements or closely related work who can operate independently, manage complexity, and protect both our clients and the firm financially.

    The Role

    As a Senior Settlement Specialist, you will own the settlement phase for 50+ active personal injury cases. You will work closely with one high-performing attorney and the pre-litigation team to ensure settlements are accurate, compliant, timely, and handled with professionalism.

    This role requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts without constant supervision.

    What You Will Be Responsible For:

    Case Ownership and Client Experience:

    Manage the settlement process for a caseload of 50+ personal injury cases

    Maintain clear, professional communication with clients through settlement and disbursement

    Manage clients understand timelines, next steps, and outcomes

    Conduct Liens, Medical Bills, and Insurance Resolution

    Negotiate reductions with medical providers and lienholders

    Research and verify all applicable liens, including County Recorder, Medicare, AHCCCS, ERISA, and private insurance

    Maintain accurate medical records and billing information

    Confirm Medicare claims are filed, tracked, and resolved properly

    Verify AHCCCS, Medicare, and ERISA chronologies are accurate and up to date

    Understand and apply health insurance billing processes and procedures

    Financial Accuracy and Risk Protection

    Ensure accurate accounting of settlement funds, firm expenses, and disbursements

    Prepare complete and accurate settlement packets

    Protect the firm from financial loss through attention to detail and compliance

    Coordination and Execution

    Coordinate with insurance adjusters, attorneys, and clients to obtain signed releases

    Track deadlines and move cases forward without being chased

    Oversee final disbursement of settlement checks to clients and providers

    Qualifications

    5-7+ years of experience in personal injury settlements, lien resolution, or closely related work

    Ability to manage cases independently with minimal oversight

    Strong understanding of medical bills, liens, and settlement disbursement

    High level of accuracy and attention to financial detail

    Professional communication skills and sound judgment

    Reliable, organized, and accountable work style

    Compensation & Benefits

    $29.00 – $33.00 per hour, depending on experience

    Full-time, in-office role. No overtime.

    Flexible Daily Start Time: Start your workday anytime between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Results matter more than clock-watching.
