    Leading global consumer products company is seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist to join its Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) team in Los Angeles. This is a high-impact role focused on supporting New Product Development (NPD) initiatives with strategic sourcing expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision making.

    Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the process owner for the GSS organization within the NPD lifecycle, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

    • Act as the primary bridge between sourcing and NPD teams—providing strategic guidance, facilitating communications, and influencing sourcing decisions.

    • Independently lead and report on assigned NPD projects, ensuring sourcing inputs align with manufacturing and organizational goals.

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, R&D, Technical Ops, PMO, Quality, and Packaging Engineering to ensure seamless project execution.

    • Source, analyze, and present cost data from suppliers and internal teams to support project costing, decision-making, and budgeting.

    • Facilitate meetings and gather inputs from subject matter experts to resolve sourcing and cost-related challenges.

    • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation within the Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.

    • Support internal training and mentor junior sourcing staff.

    • Champion change management, drive results with urgency, and ensure all sourcing milestones within NPD projects are delivered on time.

    Requirements:

    • 6+ years of experience in a product manufacturing industry

    • 3+ years of experience in sourcing, cost analysis, and project management within a complex, cross-functional environment.

    • Deep understanding of NPD processes and sourcing’s role in product innovation.

    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on critical timelines.

    • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

    • Familiarity with Agile PLM and Oracle ERP systems.

    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and standard Office tools.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, team-first mindset.

    • Bachelor’s Degree required.

    $105,000-$115,000 per year
