WHAT YOU WILL DO
As the Senior Staff Accountant, you will prepare the general ledger account analysis and reconciliation, month end roll-forwards and variance analysis. You will work across a variety of internal departments in addition to acting as a liaison for external partners, such as franchise owners and auditors. This is a full-time, hybrid role.
Perform reconciliation of various cash assets across multiple entities to help ensure Primrose is compliant with applicable treasury recordkeeping and reporting requirements
Prepare and analyze income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements, and various other accounting statements and reports
Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records
Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and develop or recommend accounting methods and procedures
Acts as a mentor to staff accountants
Coordinates accounting matters with other departments, locations, and divisions.
Participate in financial reporting and in credit card transaction processing and reconciliation, including personal expense reimbursement
Evaluate department operating and reporting processes for continual process improvement opportunities
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
CPA preferred
3+ years of professional accounting experience
Public Accounting experience preferred
Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) accounting standards and best practices
Agility and attention to detail
Ability to interact professionally with others while maintaining internal controls of the organization
Ability to multi-task and balance multiple high priority tasks
Credible, honest and high integrity
Ability to exercise discretion and judgment
Verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
