    Objective

    Support The Dingman Group’s accounting and finance operations by managing day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger reconciliation, job costing, AP/AR, and month-end close activities — helping drive accuracy, financial clarity, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced sports industry environment.

    Core Responsibilities

    -Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly, maintaining detailed schedules for fixed assets, accruals, prepaids, and amortization. -Prepare and post journal entries for monthly close processes, including payroll, depreciation, and expense accruals. -Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including billing, collections, vendor payments, and deposits. -Conduct month-end job costing analysis of relocation projects to support accurate financial reporting. -Reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly and code transactions appropriately. -Oversee vendor records and assist in updating customer data within the Salesforce platform. -Support trend and variance analysis of the income statement and balance sheet. -Report directly to the SVP of Finance, with a clear growth path within the accounting department. -Collaborate daily to align on task priorities and proactively request guidance as needed. -Loves Sports a plus.

    Key Skills and Attributes

    -3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting. -Strong understanding of AP/AR processes and monthly close activities. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks Online and Salesforce is a plus. -Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to meet deadlines in a high-paced environment. -Professionalism in all forms of communication, particularly in client-facing scenarios. -Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving processes. -Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or equivalent experience) strongly preferred. -Overall problem solver and creator of "better ways."

    Compensation and Benefits
