Senior Structural Engineer - Commercial Building Engineering - Base Salary to 110k/year - West Palm Beach, FL

• Our client, an established structural engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for its West Palm Beach office. This role focuses on structural analysis, design, detailing, and construction documentation for complex commercial building projects utilizing concrete, structural steel, reinforced masonry, and wood structural systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing for complex commercial buildings in accordance with applicable building codes
• Design structural systems utilizing concrete, structural steel, reinforced masonry, and wood
• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents
• Coordinate structural design with Architects, internal engineering staff, and other engineering disciplines
• Prepare and coordinate construction documents within a BIM environment
• Participate in structural inspections and investigations as applicable

Qualifications:

• BS in Structural Engineering
• 2+ years of structural engineering experience designing commercial buildings
• Experience designing structures utilizing masonry, structural steel, wood, and concrete
• Experience applying U.S. building codes, construction methods, and structural design standards to commercial building projects

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 81k - 110k/year range, plus annual bonus
